A family friend was ID'd in Asda a few weeks ago. He's 46, and has a head of grey hair. He wanted some cans of beer, and when he got to the checkout, they asked for his ID, he handed over his driving licence, and they then refused to serve him, because he was UNDER 50.
Needless to say, he was left feeling insulted and embarrassed, so he no longer shops in Asda.

wasn't it Asda in the news a while ago for refusing to serve a man in his seventies becasue he didn't have ID, too?
