Despite being back at work after two days of migrainous (is that a word?) misery yes yes alright so I also managed to do quite a bit of writing while I was off, shhh today had several moments of win:

- At the station on the way to work the little black cat that lurks on the platform came over and let me stroke it until the train arrived.

- One of the Project Managers bought me a bacon and egg bap.

- This afternoon I was waylaid by a man with a car boot full of flowers, who insisted I take several bouquets back to the office. He said "I work at Sainsbury's, but I'm also a volunteer for the hospital chaplaincy - so I donate the flowers and accept them from myself." LOL. Apparently he brings them in and gives them to random departments to brighten the place up!

Ooh, and tomorrow night I'm going to see Dylan Moran! *bounces*

ETA: Oh yeah, it's the TG/A2A Children In Need thing tonight, innit. Although I may well be asleep by 10:40...

10.40, is that when the TG/A2A thing is meant to be on? Bloody hell, I think I might be asleep by then too...

yeah, I couldn't find it at first, then realised it was after the news! Mind you, there's new QI on at 10:00 on BBC2...

Our project office guy bought us sausage sarnies today, no flowers, but we are seeing Dylan a week tonight! :-)

How do you know the TG / A2A thing is at 10.40...?

fried pig products win out over flowers any day in my book!

And I know this becasue my Radio Times tells me so :) (it's an approximate time, but it's the first thing on after the news, so should be reasonably accurate)

Oooh, you've got me wanting a bacon and egg bap now :)

I've still got a headache actually, but I'm not sure if it's just the weather, as several people at work had one too. Bah.

I thought you were a vegetablist LOL. Mmmmnbacon....

I think it's the weather. And the general pressure of it being Christmas and yet actually nowhere near Christmas. The shops are playing mind-games with us. *nods*

*cuddles up to you*

I haz officially thrown that out the window. Several cheese burgers, many gammon steaks and sojourns to KFC later, I realise I was a meat eater in denial. Bring on the wall! carcass!

oh yeah, you were eating gammon earlier weren't you! I swear, my brain is failing today. I spent five minutes this afternoon trying to think of a man's surname - all I could recall was that he was Derek, from DA Giles. Of course, his surname was Giles...

You like Russell Tovey don't you? I was re-watching the My Family And Other Animals dramatisation they did a couple of Christmaseseses ago, and realised he plays Leslie!

My brain is failing too. Shall we be old and infirm together? :) Is it okay that I giggled at that? It really is rather cute.

I do indeed, he is loffly. *uses Russell icon* I've never seen that, and I know that he's in Little Dorrit at the moment but I can't watch it because of it's grim Dickensyness (which is not a word at all). Was My Family And Other Animals good?

LOL yeah, laugh away, it made me crack up at my own uselessness when I realised...

Ooh, yes, MFAOA is wonderful - in fact I'm re-reading the book as well, and there's tonnes of little things in the tv version that I missed the first time cos it had been longer since I'd read it - I thoroughly recommend it if you can get hold of a copy!

My envy at you seeing Dylan Moran, let me show you it: grrrrrrrrrrr.
Yet another example of Why Ros Needs a Better Job. Stupid working in the evenings.

But woo! and yay! for CiN goodness tonight. And beer. Mmmmmmmmmmbeer.
