Dear God, I've only watched the first episode and, well, the slashing was going to be inevitable really, but already I have an icon and I'm looking for fic LOL. Incidentally, I can already recommend this and this. Ngf.

I saw it and loved it as a kid, but I've not seen any of it since so I was a bit curious as to what I'd think - but just the title sequence alone brought it all back, it was like rediscovering old friends and then making them do bad things in my head. Ahem. Anyway, it's feckin' brilliant - the tight jeans, the car chases, Daisy's legs - sorry, where was I?

(Incidentally is there *anyone* on my flist who cares? Or am I raving to myself here, LOL. Because already at this point I have a suspicion there will be fic...)

Phil Nichol wrote a most excellent song about the Dukes that may amuse you: -

Ach, give it a try - I found it to be a bit too shiny (and I'll always love Dean Cain), but you might like it!

I know what Dukes of Hazzard is, but have never seen the original series nor the more recent remake. But I'm quite happy to read you discovering it... it doesn't sound like my thing, tbh.

You'll have to teach me the l33t conversation ski1llz - I'm still trying to convert most of my f-list to TGS, but am losing to other people converting them to (horror) bandom...

Sadly, I don't know Dukes of Hazzard, but I was going to write a very similar post about Bergerac earlier today...not the slashiness, just the 80s cool and the tight trousers, but was also scared (probably rightly, in my case) that nobody would care! D of H looks genuinely cool though. I shall keep my eyes out on UKTV Gold, just 'cos I'm in that sort of mood. I want 70s tight trousers slash. Oh dear.

So, I read this and my brain decided to sit up and go, 'you know, Faceman/H.M. Murdock would actually be plausible'. Sometimes I hate my brain, and for the love of James's stripy jumper, no-one mention Airwolf!

Also, I found this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0429493/) while googling the correct spelling of Murdock (yes, I know :P) and just... no. Please no. Let it not be true!

just... no. Please no.

I second this sentiment. God that'll be awful.
