I really rather enjoyed that.

Despite the preposterous and holey plot. But Captain John wasn't evil after all and I have just two words - "space pig." I am random continuity's bitch. Even Rhys didn't annoy me. It's a miracle.

Oh, and can anyone remember the exact quote along the lines of "people only really notice you when you tie them up" because that was starting TGS bunnies...

*sniffles*

They killed Tosh! I'm not so bothered about Owen, but Tosh was so brave...

Why can't we keep Captain John? There's vacancies now...

yeah, I sniffled, I confess. I liked Tosh AND Owen (I even liked first-season Owen), but I was pre-warned as to who copped it (possibly the first time ever I've voluntarily spolied myself for something like that!) so it wasn't so much of a shock.

Yeah, I wanna keep Captain John too.

Yeah, I was spoiled ahead of time too, but I guess I was in denial. *cries*

*CRIES & CLINGS TO TOSHIKO*

That quote from John was brilliant.

I want my girl back. I adore her.

do we know for sure that's it for them if there's a third series? I mean, you know, sci-fi n' all - and you never saw Owen *actually* disintegrate.

I reckon she's definitely gone. There was a spoiler in some sci-fi type that said that Tosh would be leaving. There was another spoiler with it, that I won't mention, but it was even more bizarre. It didn't mention Owen though.

As for Owen, Burn Gorman mentioned in Declassified that we don't actually see what happened to Owen, but I reckon he's gone too. They're gone together and it makes me cry.

Another spoiler? I've heard something that was completely bizarre too; I wonder if they're the same thing...

This one was so completely out there/ridiculous, I don't think it would happen. And it most certainly wouldn't work in/for the show.

Sounds like we've heard the same thing... I might not ever forgive RTD if it turns out to be true.

It had better not happen. I will stop watching the show. It just wouldn't work. No way.

I'll stop watching too. They'd be changing the very essence of Torchwood and it just wouldn't be the same show.

email it me? plz?

I'm not sure exactly when I downgraded Torchwood from a show that I would kill people for spoiling for me to 'meh' but it was somewhere in this series...

Another series has been agreed, I heard...

The plot was shockingly bad. If Jack was in the vaults all that time, how was he also there in the hub? And wouldn't Ianto have noticed his body? Am I just not understanding the timelines?! *confused*

no, it's just bizarrely bad scripting I reckon! When they were talking about burying Jack, I was thinking oh FFS he's not going to have to live through all that AGAIN is he? But yes. Also, 2000 years - couldn;t he have dug himself out in that time?

If we're being honest, it was as poor as piss, wasn't it? Because it's utterly stupid thinking. Two Jacks? No Jack? I don't get it. Of course he could have dug his way out! I think Chris Chibnall must be missing a few vital cells...

the only constant is that every 'early' version of Torchwood we see is vastly superior to this one! I so want a series focussing on Victorian/Edwardian!Torchwood!

SO MUCH WORD.

So long as the script was written by Sarah Waters.

I was NOT spoiled, and I wept like a small child.

I've actually grown to sort of like Owen, and at the very least he was interesting. Tosh was my favorite! Unfortunately, Gwen and Ianto don't do much for me, and I find Jack sort of annoying.

So it's up to Rhys to save the show now!

The plot was holey and difficult, but squee at post-Victorian!Torchwood. ^^
