Well, it's been an - interesting Christmas, as my mum has been laid up in bed for five days unable to eat. As she only weighs about 7 or 8 stone in any case, we were starting to worry we'd lose her down the back of the mattress...anyway, bundled her out to the emergency!doc today, who's confirmed she's got bronchitis and given her antibiotics.

Consequently haven't had much time to check the flist, so apologies for absence...let me know if I've missed anything dramatic...

she's doing okay I think - it's just that she's on her own, so I think it gets a bit dull and lonely for her, which of course makes feeling ill so much worse. But I'm only ten minutes down the road fortunately, so I'm going up when I can.

yeah, she's been really unfortunate in that she feels sick with it, everyone else has just had regular common-or-garden flu, LOL

Oh God, that's rotten! Remind her that when she's better she's got a lot of Christmas goodies to catch up on so she can regain the weight :)
