I have no idea, because you can also put me down in the "someone who managed to completely miss BOTH series' " camp. Probably due to my terminal inability to remember to ever put the telly on.

Is it worth checking out, then? I feel as if I've missed a cult, or something.

I missed both series until the last two episodes of the last series, which got me completely hooked. It's one of those weird series that was (I suspect) supposed to be cult viewing but somehow went mainstream (that's not a criticism, I just think they were taken aback by just how popular it got)

Hmmm... well, it's a clever concept, with brilliant sympathetic-but-not-wholly-good characters (and slashy, too, if that helps) and excellent writing. It's worth seeing a pic, at least. I think the second series is better than the first, personally, but either is good :)

I was in the same situation, I some how managed to miss both series even though I wanted to see them but watched it last night and I was more impressed that I thought I would be - I don't usually like shows that are all hyped up

yeah, I was pleasantly impressed. I quite fancied seeing it when it was first on, but after I'd missed the first episode I didn't really want to wade into the middle, LOL

Yep, that's exactly how I was. I didn't think I'd really understand it without the first episodes. Its one of those confusing things you need to watch from start to finish without missing things by the looks of it.

It's only just started showing here in Australia - I think we're up to episode 5 or 6 of the first series.

I tuned in after hearing a little buzz about it on the internet and completely fell in love with it. What's more the episodes seem to get better and better the more I watch.

Last week they showed the 'undercover' episode. I can't even begin to explain how wonderful that one was. :D
