Manager: When can you spiral bind those papers?
Me: I can do them now, if you want?
Manager: Great, can you do three sets?
Me: Have you got them?
Manager: Yes.
Me: Er, can I have them?
Manager: No, I need to colour them in first.
Me: (in tone reserved for children and foreigners) I'll have to have them to bind them...?
Manager: *looks blank - comprehension dawns - cracks up*

On strange work related things; the entire, large, open plan office here has just burst into spontaneous applause. For no apparent reason.
